Qualified MRICS or equivalent experience Building Surveyor

You will be…

A motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor who stands out from the crowd. We want a future leader who could be the head of the Manchester office.

You will be competent in the core service lines of Dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence, Reinstatement Cost Assessments and associated roles of Principal Designer or Party Wall surveyor.

Where we want to see you shine is Project Management and Contract Administration. Client satisfaction and delivering on our word is a must, so you need to be a competent pair of hands to join our team.

Experienced Architectural Technologist

We are looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist, based at our Manchester city centre office with nationwide travel a key element of the role.

The successful candidate will work with building surveyors to ensure our clients needs are met. They will also be comfortable in a client-facing role, helping to develop the existing business.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Measured Surveys using the latest laser scanning technologies
• Creating and amending lease plans
• Assisting and managing planning applications/submissions
• Architectural detailing/design

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

• Ability to work within a dynamic team and use own initiative
• Must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
• Must have strong verbal and numerical skills, and be comfortable with report writing
• Excellent time management and general organisational skills
• Flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure
• Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills
• Must be agile &  trustworthy with high level of attention to detail

Experience

• Experience of working with some, or all of; AutoCAD, Cloudworx, Cyclone and TheoLT
• Experience of carrying out surveys and measures utilising a variety of methods including some or all off Total Stations, Laser scanners and Leica equipment
• Experience of UK planning systems and procedures
